This is where you can come to find information on our pack. We'll keep you informed on our schedule of events right here. We meet once a week on Friday at the First Presbyterian Church of Rahway, corner of West Grand and Church Street. The meeting begins at 7:00 pm.

A LETTER FROM OUR
CUBMASTER, STEVE GREEBEL

As we set up to start another fun school year, we are also setting up our Scouting schedule. The first meeting for Cub Scout Pack 47 will be on Friday September 7, 2007. After this we have be having den meetings every Friday at 7:00 pm.

For those of you who are new to scouting, we welcome you warmly. A den meeting is where the boys get together in a group with other boys their own age. They will work with a scout handbook to achieve the rank of the pack they are in. There will be meetings throughout the school year, pending dates that schools are closed. These meetings are at 7:00 pm prompt in the Scout room at the First Presbyterian Church on the corner of West Grand Ave & Church Street. There is a door on the side of the church just under the stairs to the chapel. We are located in the downstairs area just under the chapel.

A pack meeting is where the boys receive their advancements on what they have accomplished. This is also where we will have information for upcoming events and outings. The district camping event is called Cubeloes. This is a fun weekend of rough camping on a Scout reservation. More details will follow at a future meeting.

We are happy to start the 2007-2008 school year with some new faces and hope to grow the pack even more in the upcoming months.
