Pack Policies
1) Cub Scouting is a family oriented
program. Families are required to get involved with their Cub Scout.
2) Pack meetings will be held on
either the third or fourth Friday of the month at 7: 15 p.m. in
the Scout Room at the church. All Cub Scouts are expected to attend
the pack meetings.
3) All Scouts must have a parent
or adult family member at the pack meeting. This is not a baby-sitting
service.
4) If a Scout cannot attend the pack
meeting, please notify the den leader prior to the meeting. Boys
may be participating in a flag ceremony, a skit, or are receiving
advancement and the leader needs to know which boys will be there.
5) Parents are not required to attend
den meetings but are always welcome to come. However, Scouts are
not to be dropped off. Parents must escort the child into the den
meeting and make sure that two leaders are there before leaving.
There will be no den meeting unless there are two adults present.
6) Parents are required to pick up
their Scout promptly at the end of the den meeting. If it is someone
other than the parent/person who dropped them off, please notify
the den leader at the start of the meeting as to who will be picking
them up at the end.
7) Each Scout family is expected
to take on one pack job.
8) Each Scout family is expected
to support the various fund-raisers, community service projects
and pack activities.
9) Registration fees are due each
year and should be paid promptly.
10) Dues for the den activities are
determined by the den leader. The den leader determines dues for
the den activities. Dues are due each den meeting whether or not
the child is present.
